A success story: 500 wheelsets machined in just five months
The HEGENSCHEIDT PN190 wheelset lathe for our customer MCR Lausitz has reached a significant milestone: 500 wheelsets have been machined since its commissioning in October 2024.
The machine forms the centerpiece of the MCR Wheelset Service Center. The company specializes in the maintenance of locomotives and freight wagons and acquired our lathe as part of a wheelset reconditioning project. With this investment, our customer is setting new standards in efficiency and quality.
